Globalization

The definition of Globalization:
Worldwide economic integration of many formerly separate national economies into one global economy, mainly through free trade and free movement of capital as by multinational companies, but also by easy or uncontrolled migration.
ADVANTAGES
1. Intergration of markets: Markets are interlinked- European Union .
2. Cheaper Products for Consumer: Trainers are Cheap.
3. Leads to Outsourcing in some cases which can lead to job loses: Moving call centers to India.
4. Lowering of international Bariers: Now European Union can Trade with ASEAN and NAFTA.
5. Providing jobs in LEDC's and help develop economy (less Economically Developed Countries)
6. Helps prevent market Saturation in a specific market: stops there being too much competitors in one place e.g too much call centres in Uk, so move to india
7. Standardisation of product: the same products can be seen in some many places - e.g coke and McDonalds.
DISADVANTAGES
1. Intense Competition
2. Widening of Gap between rich and poor countries
3. Harder for Smaller businesses to establish themselves
4. Exploitation of workers: Paying the workers in LEDC's a fraction of what would be paid in to workers in LEDCs.
5. Income generated in Host country is not always spent in the same country - money earned from supplying cheap call centres in india will not be spent in india but maybe in Uk or US.

..My New Year's Resolution

Every new year, you get the chance to stop doing something bad and start doing some good things. Some people don't believe in new years resolution, i don't know why but i do. Well my new year's resolution this year is to start working hard at school with more effort not just to satisfy my parents, or my teachers but myself as well. This is my new years resolution because i was never a hard worker at school, in other words, i was a bad student. I hope ill start improving this year, its for my own good and it will help me in the future. Even though i do believe in new year's resolution, it might not work out, therefore i must put some effort to be able to be successful.

ABOUT ME

My name is Mohamed Abdel Razek, im 15 years old, i live in 6th of October city. I'm a Libra so im kind of complicating, but with a great personality. I live in a family of three children, im the youngest and if you think that the youngest one is always the most spoiled one, then think again because you're wrong. I love sports, im very athletic, i started practicing football since i was 5 and no its not soccer, its football. My sister recently got married back in June, she got married to an Egyptian who lives in the states, Seattle Washington to be more specific. She had to move with him because he had a good job that he didnt want to leave. Sadly, i get to see her every six months, but at least we Skype everyday. I might be diffrent to other kids at my age, because i don't know what i want to do when i grow up, i didnt decide as until now. My goal in life is to satisfy everyone, without hating anyone or anything. I love to travel more than anything, for me to see and observe other cultur's is amazing. Ive travelled alot throughout my life, ive been to several countries but my favorite one was no doubt France. Paris has a charm no other city has, i really love and id do anything to go back.

My Vacation

My vacation was kind of boring, very boring actually. I had no plans what so ever, not even for new years eve, but i was home alone so friends came and slept over. It was nothing compared to what i did last year, last year was by far the best vacation i ever had. My parents told me that we were going to the US to visit my sister, so i convinced them we'd stop by New York cause going to New York would be a dream come true for me, so we were planning on staying there for 4 days but a storm hit New York so no planes were taking off at JFK. So like i said, my vacation was horrible, and there were news that made them even worse. I hope next time i would plan something out to have more fun, whether its in Egypt or not. So me playing with my Playstation was the thing i did the most throughout this vacation, but i still have to credit the days i went out and had fun with my friends. And the best part is that not all of my friends traveled, some did, but others stayed in Cairo, they made it an "okay" vacation. I certainly hope the next ones would be better, especially if i'd go visit my sister in Seattle Washington, its beautiful. I dont even have to mention those homeworks who made my vacation even worse, it was torture. But at least we had a rest, we need those, us students, we work to much and teachers never agree with that, i bet Miss Omneya is probably reading this right now and shes smiling at ther screen.
